Long Life Vacuum Motors for Pet Grooming/Dryers
AMETEK's new Eternity Brush motor design is the right choice for your pet dryer units. You can save on motor and brush replacement costs, service/labor expenses and down-time costs. The new curved brush technology will mean more than twice the life of the current straight brush design. The length of the curved carbons is nearly 75% longer than typical straight brush and for some models can mean up to 2,000 to 3,000 hours of brush life.
These new motors also utilize the "Advantek" motor design and will mean less input power for the same motor air performance. This new high efficient design also contributes to the longer life.
Longer brushes mean more life. Traditional brush length is limited by the effectiveness of the spring. AMETEK Motors get around this obstacle by creating curved brushes. The curved brush allows us to increase the brush length by as much as 2/3. The result is 2-3 times the life over normal straight brushes. In some lower amp motor applications, like 8 amps or fewer, motors can run as long as 5,000-8,000 hours.
The list below shows the new "Eternity" brush motor and their comparable traditional AMETEK Motor straight brush version. Since, the fan designs are similar in both versions, the new Eternity Brush version is a drop in replacement.
